The TAIEX options put/call ratio is a sentiment indicator showing the number of put contracts relative to call contracts in the TAIEX options market. A put is a contract whose buyer profits if the underlying (such as a stock index) falls within a given period; a call is a contract whose buyer profits if the underlying rises.
